DIMA Instrument Insurance Fee
Musical instruments are the backbone of an instrumental music program. Dana Instrumental Music Association provides over 150 instruments to students every year. Each year a portion of our budget is spent on repair and replacement of lost or damaged instruments. In an effort to protect DIMA’s instruments we ask student who borrows an instrument and wish to take them off campus pay a small insurance fee of $45. The fee covers burglary, theft, fire, and accidental damage. The value of an instrument can range from $300 to $2000.
+Students are not required to pay this fee to use a DIMA instrument during the school year.
+Non-insured instruments must remain on campus at all times.
